Things to do during NAIDOC Week 2023

National NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia in the first week of July each year (Sunday to Sunday), to celebrate and recognise the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Download and print our 2023 Gold Coast NAIDOC Week Events schedule. All events, excluding the Elders Afternoon Tea and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Elders and Seniors Lunch, are free for all members of the community to come along and enjoy.

UPDATE 4 JULY 2023

Unfortunately, due to weather and ground conditions at our Coomera site, we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel our NAIDOC Under 5's Play-Based Fun Day. We apologise to our jarjums and families and hope that you can instead join us on Wednesday 5 July 2023 at the Titans NAIDOC Community Day at Firth Park, Mudgeeraba.

Due to the rain overnight and today and rain expected again tomorrow, the Gold Coast Titans NAIDOC Community Day has unfortunately also been cancelled.

We will keep the community updated if there is a possibility of rescheduling the event to a date in the future.

NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on Earth.

The 2023 NAIDOC theme is ‘For Our Elders’. Our events pay homage to our Elders who have played, and continue to play, an important role and hold an important place in our community. Visit the official NAIDOC website for more information on the theme.
