We have rounded up some of the best locations with directions so you can head straight for the money shot. Check out the map below for reference points.
Starting from Jellurgal Aboriginal Cultural Centre and heading around the mountain, some of the best spots are:
1. Echo Beach On the northern side of Tallebudgera Creek, just along the ‘Oceanview Track’, is this serene cove with calm, crystal clear water and white sand. A popular photo location for Instagrammers, it is sometimes mistaken for a secluded tropical island getaway. |

2. Where the creek meets the sea As you walk along the ‘Oceanview Track’ and emerge from the tree-covered paths, you will be greeted by an expanse of blue ocean as Tallebudgera Creek meets the Pacific Ocean. |

3. North to Surfers Paradise Further along the ‘Oceanview Track’ as it bends towards the north, the distinct outline of the Surfers Paradise skyline will come into view, making for a spectacular image that incorporates the beach, sea, sky and skyscrapers. |

4. Jebbribillum lookout If you’re not afraid of a few stairs, take the Burleigh Link Track from the carpark at Burleigh Point to Jebbribillum lookout. ‘Jebbribillum’ is the Yugambeh word for the rocky outcrop at North Burleigh and is connected to Jellurgal in Dreamtime stories. |

5. Tumgun lookout Keep heading up the mountain from Jebbribillum lookout and you will reach Tumgun lookout which boasts views down the coast as far as Coolangatta. |
