In “Unity in Community”, Elder Uncle John Graham welcomes you on the land of the Yugambeh language-speaking people for a morning of meaningful conversation, story-sharing, cultural connection and personal reflection.

What to expect

Begin your experience with a Casual Yarning session — a relaxed opportunity to arrive, settle in and connect with others (approx. 30 minutes).

You’ll then move into a Group Yarning Circle led by Uncle John, where the conversation deepens through cultural knowledge, storytelling and shared reflections. This session offers:

• An open space to share and ask questions

• Cross-cultural listening and dialogue

• A safe, inclusive environment for meaningful connection

This is a rare opportunity to sit with Uncle John, a respected Elder with deep cultural knowledge of the Yugambeh language-speaking peoples.

More than a tour, this is a participatory cultural experience that encourages genuine understanding, respect and community connection.
