First Nations Cultural Talks

 

Build cultural understanding and strengthen culturally safe practice through a 45-minute talk delivered by a First Nations Ranger.

 

Each talk is tailored to your organisation, audience and desired outcomes, providing an opportunity to build greater understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, experiences and perspectives.

Topics may include:

  • Aboriginal ways of knowing, being and doing
  • The importance of Country, culture, kinship and community
  • Local Aboriginal history and the ongoing impacts of colonisation
  • Barriers Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people may experience when engaging with organisations and services
  • Culturally respectful communication and practical ways to build trust
  • Creating culturally safe and inclusive workplaces and services

 

These talks are suitable for workplaces, leadership teams, community organisations, health services, educators and other professional groups.

Booking Request Form

  

The service fee includes preparation, consultation, coordination and tailoring the talk to the requirements of your organisation and audience.

Talks can also be extended to include additional discussion, small-group facilitation or other activities. Additional services can be arranged at an extra cost depending on your requirements.

45-minute talks start from $750 + GST.

Final pricing may vary depending on location, audience size and the specific requirements of the engagement.
